Janine Stichter

Dr. Janine Stichter is a Professor in the Department of Special Education and has worked with schools and students with autism and behavioral needs for over 25 years. Dr. Stichter presents nationally and conducts research in the following areas: Implementation science, social competence and the antecedent strategies. She has published over 80 peer-reviewed articles, provided over 120 national and international presentations, developed and published a suite of curricula(The Social Competence Curricula) focused on Social Competence K-12, and has received over $12 Million in federal grants including the Institute of Educational Sciences, National Science Foundation and National Institute of Health as Principal Investigator and Co- Investigator.
