The Bachelor of Educational Studies (BES) degree is perfect for students who wish to study education, technology-based learning, leadership, and organizational change but do not wish to be certified as K-12 teachers. Students can pursue an emphasis area in either Educational Games & Simulations Design or Educational Leadership, or they can design a personalized program based on individual interests.
The BES degree offers an interdisciplinary approach and provides a foundation in theory, research, and practice with the flexibility to personalize a program of study based on individual interests.
Choose from an online degree, where all required courses are offered online, or hybrid – a combination of online and on campus courses.
Please note this degree program does not lead to state certification to teach in the public school system.

Program of Study
To earn this degree, you must complete a minimum of 120 credit hours. This includes the following requirements:

- 24 credits of core education courses
- 24 to 32 credits in your area of concentration
