Current Missouri statute requires students to provide an entrance exam score to be considered for admission into the Teacher Education Program (Mid-Level). At Mizzou, we accept any of the following tests: ACT, SAT, MoGEA, Paraprofessional Exam, and the Elementary Education MoCA (which is a certification exam). For the ACT/SAT, we utilize the minimum scores established by Admissions. For the MoGEA, our cut scores are 183 (reading), 167 (writing), and 180 (math). For the paraprofessional exam and the elementary education MoCA, we follow the statewide qualifying score of 220.

For students who do not have one of these five entrance exams to submit for consideration OR if your score is lower than those indicated, your admissibility will be determined holistically by a committee. If you have any questions about entrance exam scores or admission to the Teacher Education Program at Mizzou, please contact our Office of Advising at 573-882-5659 or CEHDAdvising@missouri.edu
