Lisa Warner has been an MU Pre-Employment Transition Service Specialist since 2015. She also serves as the Northwest Team Regional Coordinator providing support to other specialists. Lisa retired from the Independence School District after 25 years of service. While there she was a Special Education Teacher, Special Education Process Coordinator and District Transition Coordinator. She was the director of a Project Search program a TMC Lakewood, co-founded Eastern Jackson County Job Olympics and was a DESE Transition Liaison. Lisa enjoys travel, going to the movies and watching the Chiefs. As a Pre-ETS specialist she strives to help students realize their dreams by creating career goals, developing a plan, and gaining the skills to make it happen.

Lisa serves the following school districts: Buchanan Co. Dekalb; DYS (Riverbend); East Buchanan; Lathrop; Lead Innovation; Mid Buchanan; North Platte; Park Hill; Park Hill South; Platt County; Plattsburg; Russell Jones Education Center; Smithville; St. Joe Christian; Stewartsville; and West Platte.
