Roberta Franzoni Healy

Roberta Franzoni Healy is the new Program/Partner Coordinator I at Mizzou Academy where she will assist partner schools throughout Asia and Europe. She holds a B.Ed in Pedagogy and a M.Ed in Curriculum and Instruction: Leadership Education. Roberta and her husband Jeffrey both work in bilingual education and have enjoyed spending time and living in both the US and Southern Brazil.
Roberta has been a bilingual educator for over 10 years with teaching and coordinating experience at schools in both countries. She started her career in education as an English teacher at a Mizzou Academy partner school in Florianopolis, Brazil. She was quickly promoted to a bilingual coordinator position. She was then recruited to manage the opening of the first International Baccalaureate (IB) school in Florianopolis. This challenging and rewarding experience motivated her and her family’s return to the US to study and learn more about American education. In Colorado, Roberta studied to become an International Primary Montessori teacher while simultaneously earning her masters degree. Roberta has also worked as an educational consultant to schools in both the US and Brazil.
In her spare time, Roberta plays competitive beach tennis, volleyball, enjoys riding bikes with her children, starting new home projects, taking care of her plants, relaxing at the beach, traveling, and raising her beautiful family.
