Debbie Schroer is one of the Literacy Coaches for the Heart of Missouri and serves as part of the Literacy Team.

A former fifth grade classroom teacher and K-5 Title I Reading Teacher, Debbie holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Southwest Baptist University as well as Masters Degree in Teaching, Learning, and Curriculum with a focus in Literacy from the University of Missouri. She also has Special Reading Certification in Missouri.

As a part of the Literacy Team, Debbie provides large group training and small group or individual coaching in the areas of the Science of Reading, evidence-based literacy practices, and data-centered decision-making for instruction.

In addition, Debbie is a trained LETRS facilitator and provides coaching support for participants around the Bridge to Practice portfolio work portion of the LETRS training.

Debbie resides in Russellville, Missouri, with her husband and three children.
