Lindsay Brockmeier
- Postdoctoral Fellow
Lindsay Brockmeier is a postdoctoral fellow with the Prosocial Development and Education Research Lab under the supervision of Dr. Christi Bergin. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Missouri in Educational Psychology. Her research focuses on social-emotional learning in schools, prosocial behavior, teacher & student well-being and positive school climate. Lindsay currently supports research efforts for a SEED funded grant, Increasing Teachers’ Capacity for Integrating Mathematics, Social-Emotional Learning, and Equity (Math+SEL+E), which aims to increase the number of middle grades mathematics teachers who have the capacity and confidence to lead social-emotional learning (SEL), equity, and mathematics integration. She also supports the EIR funded Prosocial and Active Learning Classrooms (PALs) grant which helps teachers enhance their classroom learning environment and increase student engagement by strengthening relationships and helping students to learn the skills necessary to collaborate with others.
