Ta Boonseng
- Lead Teacher and Enrichment Coordinator
Dr. Thitinun “Ta” Boonseng serves as a Lead Teacher and Enrichment Coordinator at Mizzou Academy. He was born in Nakhon Pathom, Thailand, and came to the U.S (Orlando, Florida) on a cultural exchange program his senior year in high school. He then completed an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, a master’s degree in Educational Technology from the School of Information Science & Learning Technologies (SISLT), and a graduate certificate in Organizational Change from Harry S Truman School of Public Affairs at the University of Missouri. After he received his Ph.D. he worked as a Global Scholars Professional Enrichment Program Coordinator at the MU Asian Affairs Center and the Missouri International Training Institute.
In 2016, Dr. Boonseng started the Mizzou International Experience (MIE) at Mizzou Academy, an extracurricular program for high school students. He currently directs MIE programs including the on-campus summer program and the MIE Virtual Extracurricular Experience year-round program.
Dr. Boonseng is passionate about intercultural learning and leads our Personal Development and Character Education, College Prep, and Career Planning courses in Mizzou Academy’s global program.
