Nancy Anzalone of California was looking for her next life challenge after retiring from a career in in the motion picture industry. She found the perfect fit: Mizzou SISLT’s master’s degree in instructional design.

Anzalone retired from the movie business after stints as a stuntwoman and camera assistant. She worked a variety of jobs but wanted to find something that combined her love of learning with computers and knowledge sharing.

“I searched and searched for a way to combine my photography and videography skills with my love of knowledge and creating,” said Anzalone. “I knew that a 100 percent online master’s degree program that combined technology and design checked all the boxes for me.”

Anzalone now has a job as an instructional designer, and she is also building a knowledge repository website for other instructional designers.
