The Heart of Missouri RPDC held a Regional Teacher of the Year Luncheon on June 29 to recognize outstanding educators.

Regional Teacher of the Year recipients included Melissa Surber of Troy Buchanan High School; Todd Wolfe, School of the Osage Upper Elementary; and Sara Kempker of Cole County R-1 High School.

Regional Teacher of the Year nominees include, left to right: Sydney Dean, Mexico High School; Carrie McDonald, South Callaway High School; Rhonda Allen, Thorpe Gordon Elementary, Jefferson City; Sara Kempker Cole Co. R-1 High School; Lynn Cramer, Lake Career and Technical Center Camdenton; Kate Healy, Montgomery Co. Middle School; Mary Ann Hudson, Clark Middle School , Fayette; Melody Stallman, Glasgow High School; Melissa Surber Troy Buchanan High School, Troy; Todd Wolfe School of the Osage Upper Elementary.

Nominees who were unable to attend include: Krystal Shieffer, Winfield Intermediate School; Trisha Bailey, Tipton High School; Lesley Coleman, Versailles Elementary; Kelly Hoelscher, Eugene High School, Cole Co.
