Before and After School Care – 2023
Registration opens at 8:00 AM, March 3.
Who: For elementary aged children 5-12 years old and attending the CPS Summer SUNsations (incoming kindergartners must be 5 years old by June 1, 2023 to attend).
What: Fee based before and/or after school care for entering K – 5th grade children.
Where: Located in Columbia Public School’s elementary schools.
When: June 1 – June 28, 2023 (no care provided on June 19, 2023).
Why: We provide hands-on educational and recreational care for children in a safe, caring, and convenient environment. Our programs are licensed by the Missouri Office of Childhood within the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE).
How: We recommend that all families review our Family Handbook for specific policies and procedures before submitting a registration and the non-refundable/non-transferable registration fee.

- Current or Returning Families – on the right side of the page click “View My Account.”
- Summer Adventure Club Locations – Cedar Ridge, Grant, Midway, Mill Creek, Paxton-Keeley, Ridgeway, Rock Bridge, Shepard and West Blvd.
- Transportation – There is no CPS/STA transportation provided for summer 2023. CPS allows families to enroll at any summer location when the family provides their own transportation. If you child’s home school is not an option and you wish to use Adventure Club this summer, submit your child’s CPS registration by April 28th for one of the Adventure Club locations above. Delaying your registration with Adventure Club may wait-list your child.

- Morning Care – due to historically low AM enrollment, some programs begin with a waiting list for mornings and we contact families by email and/or phone after reaching the minimum enrollment number.
- Affected Schools are: Midway, Ridgeway, & Rock Bridge
- Registration Fee – during enrollment a $35.00 non-refundable/non-transferable registration fee is due per child. This fee covers administrative costs for processing your child’s enrollment and does not go toward tuition.
- Tuition – remaining tuition costs due May 22, 2023; no refunds issued to families that withdraw after May 22. Families that do not pay by May 24 are dismissed and replaced with a wait-listed family.
- Financial Assistance – all programs (except West Blvd) accept state childcare subsidies; families are responsible for any costs not reimbursed by the state.
Tier I Schools (fees reflect full tuition for the entire 4-weeks)

Extended Summer – 2023
Adventure Club provides full day programming at Rock Bridge Elementary after summer school concludes.
Who: For children ages 5-12 years old (children must be 5 years or older by first day of attendance).
What: Full-time, fee-based childcare programming, includes AM and PM snack; families provide a daily sack lunch.
Where: Rock Bridge Elementary at 5151 S Highway 163.
When: Weekdays, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, July 5 – August 4, 2023.
How: We recommend that all families review our Family Handbook for specific policies and procedures before submitting a registration and the non-refundable/non-transferable registration fee.

- Field trips – do occur and include swimming once per week.
- Capacity – enrollment limited to 80 spots and children must exhibit good citizenship to attend.
- Registration Fees – a per child, per session fee is due at registration. These non-refundable/non-transferable fees cover administrative costs for processing your child’s enrollment and do not go toward your tuition.
- Tuition – tuition due dates vary by session, no refunds issued to families that withdraw after the specific due dates below. Families that do not pay by due dates are dismissed and replaced with a wait-listed family.
- Financial Assistance – enrollment is very limited for families utilizing FSD Child Care subsidies for tuition. Please contact the office to discuss availability.
